2018 We will Love you Through It…

The Annual Captain A We will love you Through it will take place on Thursday, October 18, 2018, at Grand Slam Banquet Hall located at 478 East Tremont Ave, Bronx, NY 10457 and tickets are on sale now ($50).

Each year, Captain A honors survivors and caregivers – cancer “Angels.” Captain A – Fighting the War on Cancer Organization is seeking nominations for the 2018 Captain A We will love you Through it. Nominees will remain anonymous until they have accepted the nomination. Honorees for the Captain A We will love you Through it should exemplify the essential skills of dealing with life when confronting a struggle.

We are looking for individuals who demonstrate – either during their own illness or in support of someone battling cancer – discipline and mental focus, as all struggles and conflicts are settled in the mind before they reach a physical resolution. Since survivorship begins at diagnosis, these individuals are persistent in the face of the difficulty, pain, discomfort, discouragement, and fear that accompany the diagnosis and treatment of a life-threatening disease.

With this event, participants will be able to connect with one another over dinner, enjoy family activities, learn about cancer survivorship, and listen to live music as we celebrate life beyond cancer and honor the memory of our fallen Warriors.
